Currently Craving...

Over here on the East Coast temperatures are (somewhat) dropping, and I cannot wait for pumpkin spice lattes and my cozy sweaters. So, here is what I'm craving for Fall:

1. Topshop Unique Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear Collection

This line is absolutely STUNNING. I love the '70s influences and fur cuffs galore.

I must get my hands on this white dress. Absolutely must. Here's hoping it won't break the bank...

One of my favorites make-up artists Linda Hallberg always features the most beautiful septum rings on her blog. PataPata septum rings are sterling silver and ship worldwide from Israel! Aren't they the coolest? I need to order some new septum rings because I don't have any fun ones so I've had mine flipped up for the past month or so.

Isn't she gorgeous? Check out her blog and her Instagram (@lindahallbergs) for all of her creative looks.

3. Solid Platinum Grey Hair (with lilac/lavender tones)

I've wanted to do this to my hair ever since I saw a co-worker of mine at Nordstrom with the coolest hair. I have really bright platinum highlights right now, but the second I'm not in a show I'm doing the following to my hair...

4. Victorian Everything

Another big trend for Fall 2015 is everything Victorian--which means ruffles and everything frilly, but with plenty of modern influence.

Here are some more 'affordable' options for the victorian trend:

Need I say more? Perfect lip colors for fall.

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend!

Floppy Monday

So today is this girl's first day of school, and I decided to dress up because in a few days I know I'll be back in leotards and sweats (I'm a musical theatre major). Florals are in for fall and I could not be more excited about it. This Topshop dress is a perfect summer to fall transition dress--now I'm pairing it with a felt hat and sandals, but in a few months I can pair it with tights and booties and a cozy cardigan. It's super humid over here on the East Coast, but I'm still trying to soak up all the warm weather before it drops below freezing in a couple of months. And if any of you are in school looking for a tote--look no further than this Rebecca Minkoff bag. It fits all I need to bring to school, including two binders and a laptop (praise). I have all of my outfits planned for this week, so prepare for a boatload of Babushka posts.

A Delayed Wedding Post

It's about time I posted the outfit I wore to the wedding I went to exactly a week ago... Anyhoo, my family and I flew out to Minnesota (where it is lush and green and wonderful) for my cousin Mark's wedding! It was such a wonderful celebration and even more wonderful to see family I barely get to see because they live so far away. I found this vintage dress in Downtown Santa Cruz, at one of my favorite thrift stores Moon Zoom, and couldn't wait to pair it with this clutch I found in the Trend Accessories department at Nordstrom, and my favorite pair of sandals (that I got on eBay last year super marked down in this olive-brown color shown!). I absolutely love pairing vintage frocks with modern accessories. I promise to post somewhat more frequently! Have wonderful weekends everyone.
